Nowadays temporary or permanent boundary walls are built with interlocking bricks manufactured with a mixture of crusher dust, Ordinary Portland Cement, 6 MM baby metal (aggregate), and water utilising dual compression hydraulic technology. The blocks are construction ready after 7 days of water curing. Stable and versatile walls can be built more quickly & efficiently than regular concrete boundary walls with durable interlocking construction.
Interlocking bricks for Building walls
When it comes to building walls Toughie has two variants – soil interlocking bricks & concrete interlocking bricks.
Soil interlocking bricks are manufactured by hydraulic compression of a mixture of laterite soil and ordinary Portland cement & then water cured for 7 days and shipped to the site. Concrete interlocking bricks are high-density high strength blocks with heavy load-bearing capacity and can bring in a major reduction in material handling costs and the labour involved therein.
The high load-bearing capacity of interlocking bricks when compared to conventional bricks allows residential projects or up to two-storied buildings to be constructed without pillars and beams resulting in optimized construction costs and timing.
