The best Interlock bricks supplier in Kerala, Toughie has assured reliability of construction using interlocking blocks.

Toughie interlocking blocks lock perfectly with the neighboring blocks & develop a cross locking system. This will give stability and strength to the structure under construction. The interlocking technology has been proven effective in construction in areas where natural calamities like earthquakes, floods, cyclones, etc. occur frequently.

Toughie interlocking wall blocks ensure fast construction! The curing time required for construction is drastically reduced with Toughie Interlocking Bricks in Kochi.

Cement Interlock Bricks

Method of Construction using interlocking bricks

  1. Construct a normal basement first. A stronger basement is required as the interlocking bricks have more weight than conventional bricks.
  2. After laying the basement, a layer of normal baked bricks is placed over it. The width of this layer should match with the thickness of the wall which is going to be built using interlocking bricks.
  3. Then the Interlocking bricks are neatly arranged over this layer. (Only experienced laborers must do it as any irregularities in their placement cannot be corrected at a later stage.
  4. Care to be taken while concreting the roof. The edges of the roof should project out a little more than the wall to ensure that rainwater does not flow through the walls.
  5. After completing the construction corners of the wall are completely plastered using cement. This helps to have adequate pressure from the sides of the building for the bricks to bond together. The pressure from the top is from the concrete above. This makes it like the interlocking is placed with adequate pressure from all four boundaries.
  6. The external wall can be left as such without painting. But the gaps have to be filled with like-colored cement.
  7. To plaster the internal wall, it is better to make the surface rough before plastering as the surface of interlock wall brick is relatively smooth.
